Just been reading an article in the Times about brides choosing gold over platinum wedding rings as the price of platinum is going through the roof.

So if you are getting married this year or the next - what measures are you taking to recession proof your wedding and beat the credit crunch? Are you cutting back, perhaps on the number of guests at the reception or on wedding photography?
