Some facts...

Queen Victoria made white the bridal color of choice when she wore it to wed Prince Albert in 1840.

In 1983 a couple planning on getting married decided as they had no friends or family to speak of, that they would put an advertisement in the paper for a wedding congregation.They received over 250 replies which they went through with a fine toothed comb until they selected 20 couples deemed most appropriate for the situation and four young girls.
