What is a photographer to do without a wedding?
Ummm.... now the wedding season is over for 2007, what is a photographer to do?
Don't worry I still have a few things in mind and in the pipeline:
- A corporate event to photograph
- House keeping such as learning how enlarge the photo sizes in this blog, book myself on some photography courses and keep up the personal photography!
- Read up on a few other photographer's blogs, such as Becker, Jessica Claire, Bobbi & Mike, Knight, Kenny Kim, The Image is Found, Wreckless Photography, Jessica Strickland and Anne Ruthmann to name a few.
- Go to the SWPP/BIPPA photography convention and get educated!
- Read a few photographers' forums - Photonet, Wedding photographer forum at Fred Miranda and Canon Digital Photography Forums.
- Learn more about flash techniques by reading Strobist and Planet Neil - maybe I will even build myself a Better Bounce Card!
- Keep an eye on what the brides are up to on forums like Wedding Ideas Magazine & Confetti.

Hey - I can send you some work if you aren't busy enough!!! HA!! ;-)
I have a few more ideas for you... visit your local florist, baker, and candlestick maker (just kidding) or invitation designer and offer to do some commercial work for them- maybe create some large and beautiful canvas gallery wraps to display in their shops of their work at a discount with your name on them. ;) Take some of the local reception coordinators out for a lunch or just for drinks to get to know each other better and to swap wedding stories. Man.. if I had more time... I'd do a million things!
BTW... just in case you haven't been told this enough lately... you are GORGEOUS! I LOVE your smile - it's absolutely infectious. ;)
