Wedding Photography, boring as if!
Sometimes when I am surfing the web - I like to have a look at other photographers around the world just to see what is happening with global trends of wedding photography, learn something new - plus just to have a good old nosey. Looking at other people's work also helps you with new and fresh ideas. "How did they do that?"
"I never thought of that!"
The bottom line is that wedding photography does not have to be stuffy or boring - even with the formal shots.
Here are a few of my favourites....
Becker - I really like his photographs of small groups
Jessica Claire - her use of colour is phenomenal!
Dawn Earles - her photographs have a timeless magazine like quality
Robin Ng - the photo of Christine sitting down on the steps and Tung walking past with the flowers - love it! (blog entry dated 20/4/07)
Also love Neil van Niekerk's use of flash. He has some excellent photography tutorials on his blog.
Also Glen Johnson an international wedding photographer - whose book "Digital Wedding Photography: Capturing Beautiful Memories" gets 10 stars from me for being full of excellent advice!
